Ford ousts Honda in quality, customer satisfaction
According to an initial quality study conducted by the RDA Group, Ford has ousted Honda in terms of vehicle quality for 2009 model year vehicles. The study represents documented model problems within the first three months of operation. A remarkable turnaround, Ford has proven itself to be by far the strongest of the American automakers despite these economic conditions. The Detroit News reports that Ford remains tied with Toyota and Honda for customer satisfaction.

Ford has drastically improved on all fronts within the last 10 years. Look back to a mid 90's or late 90's Ford and there's little to compare. Just a shame the Explorer has lost its truck roots...
