Another month passes in 2009 and we have yet another outstanding Explorer worthy to win the ExplorerX April 2009 Ride of the Month! Congratulations to Wes aka "xnewengx76" who has a very unique and custom 1997 5.0 Eddie Bauer Explorer that has the looks and the performance to be a true street Explorer. March 2009 Ride of the Month: Ryan Schlote

March 2009 Ride of the Month: Ryan SchloteCongratulations to Ryan Schlote for winning the ExplorerX March 2009 Ride of the Month! Ryan is a familiar face within our community, as he is the founder and owner of RSI Motorsports, an ExplorerX sponsor. Ryan has an awesome 3rd generation Explorer that has a billet grille, clear corners, and custom HID Projectors that were retrofitted into his stock OEM headlight assemblies. The result is an incredible, DOT legal HID setup that cleanly distributes the light and avoid the scatter that is common within users who upgrade to HID kits in either stock or diamond cut headlights.

Ryan currently offers the HID projector retrofit kits through his online business, RSI-HID.com, but he is also offering a group buy within our forums. For more information about the group buy, please check out Ryan's thread. Then, don't miss out on more pictures of Ryan's Explorer and his projector install.

June 2008 Ride of the Month: A.J.

June 2008 Ride of the Month: A.J. Soliz

Another month, another well-deserved winner that proves just how good an Aviator can look beyond factory.

A.J. has been a long time member of ExplorerX, first the owner of an impressive Mountaineer with 20" wheels, a custom interior, and much more. But it all went to the next level when A.J. got his 2005 Lincoln Aviator and began to hook it up. A.J. simply has too many mods to list, but you can check out a feature article on A.J.'s Aviator back from 2006 for a look at some of the interior work.
